Gannon Green Initiatives Fund
Gannon launched its green initiatives with the creation of a green roof on Nash Library and Student Learning Commons. The green roof has already produced three student research presentations that won two first-place awards at regional conferences. But more importantly, it is shrinking our carbon footprint and showing concern for God’s creation. Funding can support long-term opportunities to provide energy-saving solar panels and additional student research opportunities. In the short term, contributions can support planting of native trees and vegetation to enhance our campus aesthetic, expand green space, and broaden students’ knowledge.
